We had the head of the MET office stuck in Gatwick due to snow, who was on her way out to the climate conference in Cancun, well, the Gore effect strikes again. This time in Cancun itself: Coldest December on record in Cancun[^] This could almost make me believe in God, especially one with a sense of humour! ;)

"It is a remarkable fact that despite the worldwide expenditure of perhaps US$50 billion since 1990, and the efforts of tens of thousands of scientists worldwide, no human climate signal has yet been detected that is distinct from natural variation." Bob Carter, Research Professor of Geology, James Cook University, Townsville

As barmey as a sack of badgers Dude, if I knew what I was doing in life, I'd be rich, retired, dating a supermodel and laughing at the rest of you from the sidelines.

Was Al Gore in Cancun then? I can imagine his personality cooling the area around Cancun quite a bit! JC
