Have you not heard of Call of Duty?! :omg: It has to be one of the best selling game series's EVER.

I used to be a developer in VB [insert sarcastic note here!], and after a couple of years without coding, i feel my mind is getting slower. So i was thinking about a new hobby and start writing games, only to remember how good it felt to solve something and give some healthy work for my brain. I'm not thinking about fancy graphics and anything like that, just in learning the logic to implement some situations (turn by turn battles, etc.) Recommendations are welcome... :-D

I’m 48 level with 1800 kills, looking forward to enter the “prestige“ mode sometime this week. My amusement was caused from the usage of COD and VB in one sentence.

Cool :) I know someone who took a week off work to play black ops when it came out, all they did that week was play COD and sleep

And that's what it is, all I suggest for this guy is to pick up a spade and do some trusty gardening.

I agree it would be fun, but not very practical. You'd only be able to use it on the emulator unless you got a phone, which is available from only one carrier for the time being. Not worth buying a new device or switching carriers. Also, from what I've seen the numbers don't look promising, Windows Phone 7 could go the way of the Kin, then you'd be stuck with a game no one can use and a device that isn't supported.

 ATT and T-Mobile have WP7 phones. Dell offers one too (unlocked I guess).

Windows Phone 7 devices are only available non-CDMA networks, just like iPhone. AT&T and T-Mobile are the same, T-Mobile is just the low end version.

Regarding the in-game statistics three weeks ago about 15% of the world population has been killed in the COD servers/numbers wise/. For me it took me about 25 hours game time to get to this level.

Ok, I've never used a CDMA phone. I guess you are on Sprint or Verizon then.

Yeah I reckon it's safer to stick with the most popular providers then. Not that I've had bad service from ATT except in some really rural towns where I've lost 3G and sometimes even Edge.
