most of them are false. I'm too lazy to google them. anyway, just boring info ... IMO.

Gary Starkweather is a woman? Does he know that? Also, did Rovere actually create the bulletproof vest or did she merely commission someone else to? Maybe when e-mails were simply text based they couldn't, but today a computer can certainly become infected with a virus from opening an e-mail.

It was a woman who invented Kevlar while working for Dupont. It was a man who invented the bulletproof vest and started a company to do it - particularly because he realised by making it so reasonable protection was provided they would be affordable and practical enough to wear. That realisation alone is what made the bulletproof vest a success.

I'd say actually stopping the bullets made it successful. :)

Close to 60% of the radiation that comes from a mobile phone goes directly to the users head. As we were we talking about ... I mean last week ... the contract ... ahh, erased by radiation ...

others have covered email viruses, bulletproof vests, and laser printers. So, here's one for scissors: "It is most likely that scissors were invented around 1500 BC in ancient Egypt." (Wikipedia:Scissors[^]). I didn't know that DaVinci was alive back then! Seriously...do you believe everything you see on the web?!
