But it's not the Lounge app, which I heard already exists on Android. This one allows you to attend "Code Project Virtual Tech Summits". I installed it, but I haven't got past the login screen. To registering an account I need to specify more personal data than I'm usually comfortable with. Still pondering.... Still, it's good to see Bob and his ever-orange background as an icon in the WP7 Marketplace. Edit: Lol, forgot the link: http://www.marketplacebrowser.com/261288/bve-codeproject[^]

Why on earth would it need personal info? I'd uninstall it as soon as it asked for more than I wanted to give...

Codeproject has gone into the data harvesting business largely unnoticed recently. Just check out any of their "free" seminars and you'll soon discover a world of privacy invasion. I guess it's another revenue stream for the site. One I'd gladly pay a few bucks to avoid giving up my privacy for.

Agreed. I haven't tried any of their seminars yet, but an attempt at excess data harvesting attempts result in my creating a dummy account just for that purpose and providing pseudo random to deliberately spiteful depending on how offended I was when creating it.

Yes, it's for the Virtual Tech summits only -- and it's from our partners who we host them with. As another poster commented, we're looking into making a "for pay" option instead of a registration option, too.
