Yes very sad. So sad, in fact, that there was a discussion about it yesterday.

And I believe it was in the subject line of the "daily news" email. Oh well, guess not everybody can be as obsessed with Code Project as some of us. :-D

Mouse over username (for me, "aspdotnetdev", at the top right of the page) > click "My Settings" > click "Newsletters" > check "The Insider" > save.

Sad day for Microsoft. He was always considered an exec that listened to the devs. However I expected it after PDC goof up on silverlight. Here is the news[^]. I wonder who will be next!

That's crazy to even offer him that :). You think president of STB will end up taking a product level position? He was a division president for God's sake..

Won't it be funny if Microsoft actually buys Adobe (there was some rumours about that)?

Repost - This was part of the daily news letter as well. :)

The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it. My latest tip/trick

He said something along the lines of html 5 is gonna be the focus of development, and that they don't care about silverlight anymore. This caused quite the stir.
