    eReaders make you lazy.[^] So now it is claimed that reading things from a screen makes your brain think the information is unimportant. What a load of rubbish. I think there is far more to take in, and the markups to link to diagrams or related subjects help further and deepen the understanding of a subject. And anything that means people read more is no bad thing at all. Anything to sell copy eh?

      I would comment on that article, but because it was written in simple language and clear font I find I can't remember anything about it. Oh, well...must not have been important.

          Uh, I'm pretty sure I've read physical books that don't have funky looking font. I guess those would be hard to remember as well?

            Yeah, I guess all those 'boring' text books I ploughed through at school, college and university did me no good whatsoever!

                I'd agree with that, the amount of time I've wasted on the internet, in forums, wikipedia, etc. Most information now seems to leave me as soon as it can. Whereas if I read a physical book it sits around a moment longer. Not much longer mind, usually just enough to help.
