That's why my car has only a tiny 20 litre tank :) I rarely even notice price changes.
A while ago he asked me what he should have printed on my business cards. I said 'Wizard'. I read books which nobody else understand. Then I do something which nobody understands. After that the computer does something which nobody understands. When asked, I say things about the results which nobody understand. But everybody expects miracles from me on a regular basis. Looks to me like the classical definition of a wizard.

Yep, Diesel works fine for me too, but here they also sell another liquid known as Benzin :)

Outch. I usually get away with less than 25 € and that lasts for about a month, even if I drive to work every day. And when driving to my family over the holidays I got about 600 km before I had to stop again. Not bad for a car that gets 10 years old in four months.

The girfriend and I have a car with a 50 liter tank. Filled up last night for 1.47 euro a liter, which cost 75 euros. that'll last about 4 days commuting.

What do you all drive around in? MBTs or 'just' APCs? :) Granted, a smaller car is not practical for everybody, but a little optimizing the costs shrly can't hurt.

Here in UK it is actually illegal to do that. All pumps are adapted to be manually pumped, there is no 'Click and Lock' option. (Unless you stick something in the handle, but you are not supposed to). Mind you, we don't fill up with gas. We use a liquid, called petrol.

Currently driving the girlfriends car, a Megane Cabriolet. She bought it so she could put the top down on the 2 or 3 days sunshine we get a year. :) I bought a 1500cc Vulcan about 2 and a half years ago, That was going through about 45 euros of petrol a week for the same commute last year. It's been lying in the shop for the last 12 months as theres something rattling around in the gear box. I'd say I actually got 12 months riding the bike since I bought it, and missed both summers. With any look I'll be back on the road in the next couple of months and this time it'll last until the summer. :^)

So I want to know if this is normal that whenever(more than 50%) I try to fill the gas in auto mode(leaving the pump in the tank instead holding it) , the pump gets shut down even when tank is not full.I end up filling it manually. Or I am doing it wrong. Once or twice ,I asked my co-workers to come and observe but then no glitch at that time

Cash is always a bit short, after Christmas, so: Use the preposition "at" if you're talking about using something for its designated purpose, e.g: You sit at a desk to work, and you're at the window if looking through it (but you sit by the desk if you're not working, and you're by the window if you're not looking through it). That'll be 50 cents (eurocents, not the cheap American ones) for the English lesson.

Too much pressure in the gas tank and nozle thinks tank is full. Try to put it inside in that way so air can circulate (get out from tank), or maybe valve is cloged (tanks have this valve that lets air out). I can't explain it better on English, sorry.

Sorry, here in Mexico we don't, we are expected to wait for the clerk to come and fill it. Also, there is some security measures to be observed, as they wearing a special type of clothing and users discouraged to do it by themselves, so no static electricity spars and lightens the fumes coming out of the gas tank.
