"Loud resistance to any part of time contained in bark perhaps?"(10) The answer is Fraughtage. Anyone fancy doing the solution?

f = (forte) loud r = resistance aught = any age = part of time Fraughtage = cargo, such as may be contained in a bark (an old word for a sailing ship)

Google also don't recognise the word. It says Did you mean: Frottage ;P Google UK search link - http://www.google.co.uk/#sclient=psy&hl=en&site=&source=hp&q=Fraughtage&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&pbx=1&fp=aabd1d3992df53cd[^] Okay I know it's a word but then even Google wasn't sure about it, so it was a real tough one. :)

Bark is a much more generic term than that. A barque (bark only in US) is a vessel with a particular sail plan and having three or more masts.

Does this mean the CCC was American and thus Null and Void.

No, predominantly in the US, unless used literarily. Cromulent word, CCC stands, Setter's Decision is final :)
