I was trying to beat Nish to the magic 200K reputation points plateau, but he's less than 300 from it, and I just broke the 199K mark. I therefore offer my congratulations to Nish for achieving that oh so lofty achievement. Well-done Nish (but the race beings anew. :) ). EDIT ========= Note the time - at approximately 1:05pm central time on 01/20/2011, Nish strutted into 200K points teritory. (I might be there tomorrow morning sometime.)

Well last week I did find myself on 200+, and then I was cruelly brought down to the sub-200K level. Crossing 200K today means nothing in this situation because the next recalc may bring me down to something abysmally low like say 150K which would make my life pitiable, and I'll be mocked by all of humanity! :eek:

So I am sure you and guys like Pete who are consistently active here week after week will soon go past me. Not sure how you guys do that. It's hard to believe you can find so much time outside of your regular lives. But it's something that's seriously impressive. Specially since outside of the rep scores and few thank yous, it's in general a very thankless job. Just look at how the majority of guys never say thank you or mark your post as answer. Well that's how it works I guess.

I am not a consistently active guy in the forums here :-) There are certain weeks when I spend lots of time answering questions, and then I don't do that for weeks. So I am sure you and guys like Pete who are consistently active here week after week will soon go past me. Not sure how you guys do that.
