Frustrating

why the hell CP not fixing the reputation points or simply just stop it. I am tired of this shit, every time i logging in I see different points, sometimes it increases surprisingly some times it drops miraculously. I see many people complaining about this but whats the fix, end of day its a system that has a bug and need to fix .....
Point recalc can be frustrating for many but you have to realize that there are lots of users around here. It will take time for this to become stable.

I think it is that the criteria for calcultaing them is being fiddled about with to make it as fair and balanced as possible. You should really direct this sort of whinging to the suggestions forum: the rep points are fun, no more: your well being does not hinge upon them.

I haven't noticed this. So best you go to the bugs / suggestions forum and ask Chris to take a look at it. Or first go to your reputation graph and underneath it there is a link 'recent reputation points' Check that and see if it explains the drops / increases. If you wouldn't mind the reputation points to go away why do you mind the drops / increases so much?

I don't care about "reputation" points, just like many others here. I hardly see that count, let alone become frustrated because it changes (I didn't know there's a bug which changes that number). I might start worrying about my "reputation" (in quotes again) going down only if I can exchange it for cash. :rolleyes: And take a 1 for whining over something trivial.

I don't think complaining about the site is going to gain you any points within it! Who cares what your points are? Many of us have learned to rely on the person behind the name--not the points behind the name.
