It is unbelievable... A really incredible girl that was a really good friend of my couple has died this afternoon of a pneumonia. At her twenties, she was amazing; I met her more or less one year ago and I saw her only some times but she was terribly fun, super-vital and with huge appetite for life... I can't imagine how devastated her parents will be now... Life is really hard some times. Rest in peace Esther. :rose:

That's terrible. My sympathies for you, and Esther's parents. No parent should ever outlive a child.

Are you trying to suggest that knowing Joan made her miserable? :)

It does suck when someone is struck down in the prime of life and I feel your pain. My best friend in the 6th grade died 3 months after being diagnosed with leukemia, and my wife's best friend from childhood died of cancer in her early 20's. Granted in both cases it isn't quite as shocking as the suddenness involved with a pneumonia death, but the pain is just the same. My sympathies to you and yours. Celebrate the joy she brought into life as opposed to being sad at what she couldn't.

                          I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

I'm so sorry for yours, and her parents' loss. I lost a friend of mine this past Christmas holiday to breast cancer. She was a good friend in high school, and a young 42 at the time of her passing. It is very difficult to see this kind of loss among life-loving people who are much too young to die. Again, I'm very sorry for your loss. :rose:
