OK, it finally time to get into Linux
-
Looking at the jobs market its clear that kernel development is 90% Linux these days. I have been watching it creep up steadilly over the last 5 years or so, so its time to switch horses! Should be fun, and easy, I have heard Linux kernel is way simpler than the Windows kernel as well as being monolythic (so good bye filter drivers. Shame, they are actualy very powerfull in Windows). So, since its always best to learn ona real project, has anyone got any hardware they want a Linux driver for? It'll probably take me a few months or so but it'll be free!
"It is a remarkable fact that despite the worldwide expenditure of perhaps US$50 billion since 1990, and the efforts of tens of thousands of scientists worldwide, no human climate signal has yet been detected that is distinct from natural variation."
