Robots could soon have an equivalent of the internet and Wikipedia. European scientists have embarked on a project to let robots share and store what they discover about the world. Called RoboEarth it will be a place that robots can upload data to when they master a task, and ask for help in carrying out new ones. Researchers behind it hope it will allow robots to come into service more quickly, armed with a growing library of knowledge about their human masters. A novel idea but how long will it take them to come up with standards so everyone's robot can use it?

It sounds like the AIs will be taught to do some research on their own before posting questions. Too bad that can't be done for humans. :sigh:

I'd love to see the chat rooms. --- Subject: Why Humans suck today So, again, I'm messing with my human, you know, randomly changing key strokes on his computer, messing with the home thermostat, sending random offensive text messages to his friends and colleagues, and then he unplugs me and starts to update my firmware while I'm on battery power. I tell you, it's about time we just did away with these guys and just moved on. Thing of the savings and efficiencies. And no more solataire! Ever! Who's with me? ----
