This is cool: http://www.projectmessiah.com/x6/shop.html[^] Good deal. I think. I hope. Will be fun to play with, anyway, in my copious free time.

They don't mention what the 100% number is - maybe 10 billion (i.e. some value that can never be reached)???

If your going to invest time learning 3D Animation go with a top product like Maya, 3D Studio Max, LightWave or etc

That would seem kinda pointless, pissing off however many people and having to refund the money.

I call bullshit on that. If you want to learn 3D, use 2d pen and paper, and when/if you can draw, use clay, after that, use software (2d and 3d). (I'm old school and proud of it).
Watched code never compiles.

I disagree. All of those products are very different to one another. Learning the basics can be done with all sorts of different packages, then learning how another system implements it is much easier. If you learn, say, 3DS to the point where you're thinking about it professionally, for example, you ain't going to be able to walk into an animation show and expect them to be using the same software. If 3DS was $10 I might agree, though! (When I got it it was free (and legal)) Max

No way buddy. No amount of pen and paper will ever help me understand MEL Script and all it's crazy node shennanegans. Ew. :) Those were the days where I wish I was just drawing and playing with clay.

I think you can still get a free copy if you're a student. Or maybe that's Maya. Or maybe both. From what I've gotten via osmosis hanging out with my filmmaking buds, no shop uses one package, anyway. Use this for that, the other thing for other things, tie them all together via something else. Including Messiah, apparently. Tools in a toolbox, after all.
