Depending on which god, be it deity, money, or power. Some peoples god frowns on this, others require it. Also saying god told you does not necessarily me he/she/it did. Why not just nuke them up front and save a lot of time and trouble? There is always the 'kill lest ye be killed' philosophy: that could be neatly applied. Still, if we're all just killers what's the difference between them and us? A sprinkling of a moral code? A dose of a good book? Which one and does that automatically make the other one wrong? Tough questions; however, even though I don't like the kill them if they kill us attitude (it just perpetuates the whole thing) I do see a need to bring it to an end one way or the other. Tough one, eh? p.s. I blame that goddy thing: all it's fault. Imagine that, an imaginary character being the cause of all this trouble.
