Ugh. I just got a message from my friend promoting his business and replied to it along with a recommendation for him to contact my girlfriend for help with his web work. After replying I double checked who the conversation was between. Yeah, myself, him, and 980 others. IMHO it is a little too easy to accidentally reply all on FB. I didn't say anything personal, but now it seems like a shameless plug for my girlfriend. It's also embarassaing because she was on the conversation list, as are a ton of our mutual friends. Ugh. [Thanks for the 1 vote facebook supporting troll, I could care less. Really? I've never come across a reply all function in Facebook. I don't doubt it exists, but I'm not sure how easy it is to activate.

Then again, your GF may be flattered and reward you. Don't cross that bridge until you come to it.

Yeah, I guess it could turn into a great marketing strategy. He is an independant wedding photographer, the conversation included many other photographers, venues, wedding planners, caterers, wedding bands, and also artists and art gallery owners (he used to run a gallery that I interned at). I think this accidental marketing ploy may pay off.

It's just like myspace, or friendster before that, or AOL before that, or Prodigy before that. Actually it's just an overhyped BBS.

AFAIK when you are sent a message along with 900 other people there is no reply or reply all. If you reply it goes to everyone who was sent the message. They only way to privately respond is to create a new message to the original person. It really is crap. Good luck with V-Day! :)

I also do Android Programming as I find it a refreshing break from the MS. "And they, since they Were not the one dead, turned to their affairs" -- Robert Frost

Its a bit like a social life, but you can check out whether your ex-girlfriends are still hot without them knowing. Apparently. :-)

It's just like myspace, or friendster before that, or AOL before that, or Prodigy before that. Actually it's just an overhyped BBS.

No BBS wasn't a even fraction of this crap. In fact I think BBS could make a revival of sorts.
