        You do know you have to allow for the Julian/Gregorian date shift in that range don't you?

              that is good as a developer. i remember one moment, where date-time was showing in data base as 31 july 2010 23:00 and in ASP.net UI as 1 aug 2010 00:00

                Huh??? The only shift I'm aware of is when the year "1" occured. That ain't anywhere near the 21st century range. (Should be year 0 but they didn't give the power of 0 that we do today.) Anyway, how does a date that uses the same calendar settings end up shifting?
