I tried to take a job modeling for a religious supply company but the conditions were excruciating.

I am probably not qualified for that job either. I'm an ex-communication professional.

I bet the hours were good though. Having to work a couple of holidays wouldn't be too bad.

Would it have been such a hard cross to bear?

Bearing the cross in and of itself is not. The problem is when after a little while other people start hammering away and then leave you to hang.
