What application development frameworks do we have?
-
I'm slowly starting to begin writing a blog post about total application development frameworks, such as the DexPress eXpressApp Framework (or, XAF). I'd like to extend the series to other such frameworks, but cI can only think of IronSpeed Designer, if it qualifies by miraculously doing everything. What other such frameworks or generators can I include in my domain material? Maybe LightSwitch?

Well, there's Interacx! (I still need to get that website back up though.) However, there's bunches. Also, do you want to include the myriad of IoC frameworks out there, light Spring.NET? Marc

Hello, It would be great to see such a review. XAF and LS are definitely good candidates. BTW, you may find the blog post we made about LS helpful: LightSwitch Illuminates Application Development[^] If you have any questions about XAF, feel free to contact me at denis.garavsky@devexpress.com I will be glad to help you.
