Is anyone else suffering from this abomination? I can't believe how over engineered this software is. Ironically, it crashes lot of times so it does seem they ate their own dog food.

I just found it on one of our office machines and have taken the rat bait to it. I couldn't work out why the machine was running so slowly...

I've had similar problems with HP software... for as big of a company as they are they sure don't put out very good work.

Don't get me started. Their crapware can bring a Core2 Duo to its knees. So far I've exorcised two machines. Why on earth would anyone deliberately cripple their own freaking product? Even Norton couldn't do what HP's bloatware achieves easily. X|

Can I help you resolve the issue you have with QC? If yes, let me know and I can contact you offline. HP QC does a lot of great things around Requirements Mgmt, Test Mgmt & Automation, Defect Mgmt and with the latest 11.0 version does a lot more. As long as you have followed HP's recommended server and client side pre-requisites you may not have issues. Being on the latest patch levels is recommended as well. Let me know and I can help!

If it's related to hardware it continues a nearly two decade old tradition of HP over engineering every piece of software they include with hardware to ridiculous lengths.
