Are you sure you spelt that right? Shouldn't the answer be JANISSARY? As in:

I got the word janissary immediately. I was trying to get the orbit part.
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's too late to stop reading it.

I'd have got it faster if I had realised ISS was the International Space Station: I assumed DD had got it wrong... :laugh:

Griff, NEVER assume I get it wrong. I have, on occasions, made mistakes, I admit it, but generally I double check before promulgation. If it looks odd, it usually is meant to! :)

In my case it comes from having a son who is into ancient Greek and Roman history (and from reading too many Asterix books) :)

Janissary is a Christian charged with Guarding the Muslim Sultans from the 1300's to the 1800's, hardly Greek or Roman! :) Incidentally, the Sultans chose christians for this, because they didn't trust other muslims not to kill them, christians could never become Sultan so it was safer. In the same way, I suppose, that the key to the church of the holy sepulchre in the wailing wall in Jerusalem is not held bt the christians whose church it is, or the jews, whose wall it is, but by the muslims, to stop the other two fighting over it.
