just as "Taiwan" ,you call it as a country will be inapropriate , Taiwan is an inalienable part of the inviolable territory of China. So you'd better change "country" to "country or region" . Best Regards.
We have chosen to include it in the Country list because that's how it appears in the Geolocation services we use, and being consistent has its benefits. I've not had a single member from Taiwan complain about our labelling but will certainly take their complaints to heart should they choose to voice them.

Apart from the nonsense about Taiwan, the OP has a good point. Right above "Your Country" on the Settings page, there is the line that says: Code Project Location based Services. So changing "Your Country" to "Your Location" would be a tad more consistent. :)
