just as "Ottawa" and "Vancouver" ,we should not call them "country" ,so the "country" is changed to "country and region" will be better.

Ottawa and Vancouver are cities, Taiwan is an island. Whether it belongs to China is a matter of opinion.

I must get a clever new signature for 2011.

To the web administrator: The Item "Your Country " in "my settings" of "member pages" is NOT suitable, change it to be "your country or region" will be better. Best regards. chenxi_1 From P.R.C. 2011.03.10 09:42

just as "Taiwan" ,you call it as a country will be inapropriate , Taiwan is an inalienable part of the inviolable territory of China. So you'd better change "country" to "country or region" . Best Regards.

"So you'd better..."? That's the same as me insisting that Texas be listed as it's own country (which it is if you believe the tourist advertising). Lighten up Sparky - your use of this site isn't going to be affected in any way by the way countries are listed. This ain't the place to be political - we're programmers, not stuffed shirts that worry about territories, regions, or anything else of that ilk. If I were Chris, I'd delete your account, but then again, I can be quite the prick...

I think at this point, Chris just wants to be left alone for a day or two.

And, hey, Bavaria is missing! I use "Germany" meanwhile, but my country is Bavaria!

I kept this from the last time you posted. Unfortunately a) no rum in the house, b) Brycey gets upset when I code tipsy.
