Suppose you were to pick another job entirely outside of IT, programming, engineering altogether. What would you choose? I have been thinking about this lately and I have thought teaching might actually be fun given the right situation. Any other thoughts, what would you pick?

I would go for college soccer coach. If I had not had to work during college, probably shoot for professional soccer player. Teacher would follow a close second (third?). Jeremy Jeremy Oldham

I would probably go back to school and become a pyro-technician. I would love to blow things up as an explosives special effects artist or make fireworks. Rick

Along with pyro-special effects, I have thought that demolition work sounds interesting. But I would only want to do the part where I decided how the building should come down and what would be the best way to do that. The weeks that it takes to strip the building down to its skeleton and prepare for demolition doenst sound as fun.

I just started coaching my son's Under 5 soccer team. It is amazing how parents act. I had six kids on my team including my son. I had one parent who told me "if my son does not stop crying everytime he falls down, I am not going to let him play soccer anymore". I had another parent who said "If my son does not start running out there I want you to pull his butt. He is way to slow!" Now I was pretty competitive when I got older playing, but these kids were 4 years old. I told both parents that these kids are too young and if they wanted to go out an play with the flowers when it was their turn on the field, more power to them. I used to referee Under 8 soccer and I only did that one season because of the parents. Jeremy Jeremy Oldham
