As a starter, our website and web app (which are fully standards-compliant) are now broken. Nothing big, just all paddings are wrong and text rendering is blurry. :| It worked perfectly in IE7 and IE8 and still works perfectly with Firefox, Chrome and Opera. #Fail. Bonus point: the new tabs bar is horrible. It looks... unfinished.

If you truly believe you need to pick a mobile phone that "says something" about your personality, don't bother. You don't have a personality. A mental illness, maybe, but not a personality. [Charlie Brooker] ScrewTurn Wiki, Software Localization Tools & Services and My Blog

Lovely, free blur. Sounds like just about every Microsuck program since 2008. I've had to hack the Trebuchet font (change internal name) so that I could delete SegoeUI and have all programs always use Trebuchet instead to get rid of most blur - and even that does not work for everything. (Windows Live Messenger still looks like my glasses are smeared with butter) Fortunately in VS2010 it's quite easy to get rid of the blur (it has proper font settings)

I like ClearType, but the version (?) they used in IE9 is simply too aggressive on text antialiasing. It sucks.

I wouldn't have a problem with BlurType if it would just listen to the global "All Blur Disabled" setting. But they just ignore that setting, and that pisses me off.

See, if you had used BACON grease you'd be fine. You have to use the right tool for the job.

agree, websites made for older browsers doesnt work well in IE9, not even in compatibility mode.
