Are there any members with a platinum status in this category? It would seem quite difficult because if one were to ask that many questions, it would seem likely that they would be either low quality, or draw negative responses for not taking initiative and thus be down voted. Is there a way to search for the person with the most enquirer points? I'd like to see some quality questions and how they pulled it off.

Because I don't run into too many things that I can't figure out in my day job, so a good way of continually learning is for me to see some good questions from situations I've never encountered and may never encounter.

Easy... Whenever you reply to a question in the programming forums with the usual, "Your question makes no sense... What are you talking about?" (Like we have to do for half of them), mark your reply as a question :)

I just realized that was going on. I thought only the OP got the points for the question, guess not.

Interesting. Looks like their enquirer points are mostly from asking reply questions to the original questions asked in the programming forums. So if somebody asks "how do I show a dialog?", they then reply with the question "are you using Windows Forms, WPF, Silverlight, or ASP.Net?"

I only ask really hard questions (witness my most recent question), and most of my current enquirer points were accumulated during the testing of the Q/A functionality. After I cross the streams for Authority and Debator (and you're never supposed to cross the streams [^]), I'm going to go on a campaign to earn platinum in enquirer. I *think* that would make me the only 7-category platinum user on CP.

Just start doing all your responses in "Jeopardy style..." and phrase all your answers in a question... "What is C#?" "Who is Microsoft?" That counts, right? (sarcasm)

Those are TWO questions you could have used to get that platinum status!

That may be the best we have so far for getting top Enquirers, however it is quite possible big Enquirers haven't published (m)any articles and many messages, so they may be absent in what the app lists, as it scans the Who's Who ordered by article count, message count, and total rep. The same is true for each rep category, however I expect it applies most for Enquirer and Editor. :)
