So how is everybody? Is Grizzly Adams (aka Marc Clifton) still giving 'em the "Good News" (TM)? Is Pete still flogging his Arctic weather gear? Is John Simmons still the proponent, as ever he was, of gun ownership? Mustafa - last I remember you had some sort of aneurysm; hope you're ok and dealing with it. (There's lots of other people I hope are ok too: Dalek Dave, TrollSlayer, MidWest Limey, Dario Solera, Paul Watson... the list goes on and on you're too many to mention). Yours truly is still happily married and just returned from Malaysia, solo. TAMMH decided to stay for a few weeks because her mother isn't well. Reminds me of being a bachelor - but less good.

I remember the time my wife had to stay in India when I moved to US since she didn't have her visa yet. It really was little bit different than being bachelor, but still good.

I think john is moved more towards model making again for a period, although there is the odd rambling in the firearms department, there seems to be more messages about models. welcome back!

This week I told my manager what I think of him after lining things up to transfer to another project. He is so busy being clever and 'one of the lads' that he screws up and won't meet his responsibilities. There was one other thing, a true epiphany. Over the past two months the wilderness/triffid sanctuary out back has been turned into a garden. On Friday evening I stood there looking at the apple and mulberry trees which had been planted earlier that day and realised "I don't have to fight any more.". It was a shock. I'm OK, even if I never get another pay rise all I have to do is tread water and I can retire comfortably. If I move forward it will be if the opportunity suits me. At last, now for some "me" time instead of protecting that load of geeks. Well, I'll take a look outside if it's raining and sell them umbrellas. :laugh:

I do believe he has mentioned it. For some reason he thinks his posts might offend liberals and foreigners. I'm both and if he wants to blow things to bits with other things that's his buisiness, as long as he doesn't wave it in my direction, which isn't terribly likely to be fair.
