so basically it's virtual bricklaying? Personally, it doesn't sound like something that I would like to do in my free time.

I have yet to see a bricklayer make a CPU. Though I have seen a Tic-tac-toe playing computer built entirely out of tinker toys.

He said, "Boy I'm just old and lonely, But thank you for your concern, Here's wishing you a Happy New Year." I wished him one back in return.

Absolutely not. The mechanics of the game is bricklaying, but the bricks interact. Maybe youtube minecraft. (And yes, there are zombies attacking you, too)

That'd be her :) Excellent voice acting. Actually just about ALL of the voice acting was amazing in that game, but hers stuck out for some reason...

Steam? No thanks. Not even for free. I want to be able to install and use the stuff without having to ask for permission. I will not buy anything that requires such a procedure. If you want to sell me something, don't get on my nerves and treat me like a little kid.

The way I see it, I use the Steam client as a sort of hub for all my gaming anyway, as I really like the interface... I even add my non-Steam games to the list so I can launch them from there. So having to be logged into Steam doesn't bother me at all. And it gives the advantage of being able to, say, log into your Steam account from a friend's house, and access your games from there even if your friend doesn't own them.

Ok, everywhere I turn these days I see this thing and now I see that it actually made $33 Million or something? I looked at it once but it didn't seem to appeal to me. I love EVE as my distraction ( Space MMO for those who don't know ) and when I look at this I see visions of my first and only sims experience, five hours that at the end all I could think was, what the hell have I been doing. Am I missing something here? And how does a beta game/application make $33 Million? :wtf:

Skyrim is the one game I am looking forward to and I just wondered if anybody here also does not like to wait. I am at work right now, but looking for 'Skyrim' on Google should bring a few results.

I am definitely looking forward to Skyrim. Still play Oblivion and Morrowind. I have Arena and Daggerfall as well, but I haven't had the chance to do more than take a quick glance at them. :) Flynn

Bah, I liked Fallout 3... Though it did get kinda dull and repetitive after a while, I admit. What about Dragon Age: Origins? THAT one was really fun... And Morrigan was voiced by whats-her-name from Farscape and SG-1...

Dragon Age is another one I play. I bought the Ultimate Edition (DA:O plus the expansions) for the PS3. When my first PS3 died (with the game stuck in the drive) I bought a second copy along with the new PS3. I played the demo for DA2. There are cameos from two of the characters from DA:O, but both look very different. Through the end of April, EA is running a promotion where you buy DA2 for any system and you get a free copy of Mass Effect 2 for the PC. Don't know if I'll get the chance to take advantage of it or not, but I certainly wouldn't mind giving ME2 a try as well. :) Flynn

Bleh, power failure... Yeah Dragon Age was good, but 2 was nice but they made it too "noob friendly".

I heard that DA2 sucked apparently? Considered grabbing one when it's on special again.

It didn't really suck, it just wasn't as good as the first. Story was nice, but they made it to easy, forced you to specific stat specs and the talent system has been simplified.

This type of protection or activation mechanism has failed me once too often when travelling. And I'm also tired of being punished for being honest. No, I will not buy any junk which makes me hop through some loops. But I might consider trying the dishonest way.
