Chris, Why is Africa completely missing from the "Where do you live" list in your Community Survey. There are also developers there who access CodeProject daily. How about including at least Nigeria and South Africa next time. I started Windows programming in Nigeria since the days of WIN31, Petzold, and the SDK. There are about 110 million people in Nigeria (Official language is English), and it has a GDP several times larger than some of the countries you listed. Gaul

It's a Ham Radio (or more widely known as Amateur Radio Service). It's a worldwide network of people who talk to each other on a wide variety of radiowave frequencies for fun and hobby. This is *not* CB (citizens' band!) brian hart :) Also, this reply belongs to the "Radio Hams" thread :) But who cares? Sincerely Yours, Brian Hart "And that's the news from Lake Wobegon, where all the women are strong, the men are good-looking, and the children are above-average." - Garrison Keillor

Howdy, HB9DRV is an Amateur Radio callsign, part of my miss-spent youth, perhaps the reason why I now earn a pittance writing computer programs. ;) Old Simon HB9DRV

Cape Town, South Africa calling here too. Glad to see some locals around on CP :-D CP could put together a nice project showing the geographic dispersion of all CP users. Also knowing there are developers close by helps when you are stuck in a bind. regards, Paul Watson Cape Town, South Africa e: paulmwatson@email.com w: vergen.org
