Nobody. I'm just wondering why you're condemning my bitterness so harshly.

Because you don't know Oakman personally. There's no point getting bitter with people you have no personal relationship with. I know that people's opinions are important to you now, but as you get older you realise that there's not a lot you can do to change their opinion so there's no point stressing over it - more importantly, you missed the irony in my post; I have no bitterness towards my wife - I have spent nearly 25 happy years together with her.

I'm not trying to change his opinion. I just want to expose him to others.

Hmm... Bad example.

Damn. You took the words right out of my fingertips!

And you have exposed what? That after repeated warnings - warnings that were also given by three other members of the forum - your posts were deleted and your right to post was removed? That you feel sorry for yourself and think that no-one has the right to deny you the right to troll anywhere you choose (Including this forum where you have just admitted that you are ignoring "The SoapBox is not for" . . . "personal vendettas) because your hurt feelings and juvenile opinions are ever so much more important that the rules? If you think that somehow I am somehow deeply troubled by your whining, you are mistaking me for your parents who are the only ones I can imagine would care in the slightest. The only person you have embarrassed is yourself. I am perfectly satisfied with my banning of you, and regret only that I did not do it sooner.

I spent time dealing with you, only out of politeness and a certain curiosity to see how your mind worked. I will certainly stop addressing any posts to you or about you, if only you will do the same.

Why a whining baby is crying in a movie theatre is of absolutely no interest to me. Your self-justification for acting like a spoiled brat could not possibly impress anyone, with the possible exception of some of the others that I have banned - who at least have enough self-respect not to go trumpeting it about.

What happened to maintaining that mature, aloof image you so desperately cling to? What happened to outwardly transcending the situation whilst secretly emailing me stupid little insults?

This isn't a post about climate science. It's a post about how people go round and round about something because their beliefs hold more weight then the facts proven do. I figured you would post something about AWG when that wasn't the point at all, but the example. It caught my eye because of the lack of fact based argument that takes place everywhere now. It's just fascinating.

Science is a belief system just like any other. Just because it is a different type of system than others doesn't alter that is based on beliefs (large and small.)

I am not your parent. I do not answer to you for how I behave or worry that somehow I might hurt your feelings by responding honestly and describing your behavior accurately. However, you are suffering another episode, if you think I know your email address.

Go annoy Ravel, I have no time for your nonsense.

Well, he'd post weird 'insulting' little message and then immediately delete them, so I'd get the e-mail notification but nobody else would see it. It amounts to the same thing in my books. It was a long time ago, but an example of something he wrote is: "another ignorant peasant child with dung on your booties. You reveal your ignorance with every word you tyupe." (copied verbatim) Was I seriously meant to be insulted by it? I confess that for a while I was extremely bitter about him kicking me out of SB1, because I didn't deserve it at all. The story[^] The unacceptable behaviour[^] I hadn't posted here for a while, but came back to SB1 and it was immediately obvious to me that Oakman was determined to manufacture some polemic with me that would give him an excuse to kick me out. What he came up with was pathetic: what I did was suggest that he was wrong about something, and he responded extremely aggressively and I mistakenly thought that he was actually joking. I was completely thrown off guard, and I started asking them what was going on and what I'd done wrong. Alan Burkhart walked lockstep with him, it seems, saying that I didn't have the authority to suggest that he (Alan) could be wrong about something (I didn't say that he WAS wrong, mind, and in fact I remember saying that he was probably right, but proposed a possible alternative). Oakman continued his assault, and then he started deleting most of the conversation, particularly the messages where I was confused, where my supposed insults were, and where he was attacking me. This is because only he, Alan Burkhart and I were online at the time, and he didn't want anybody else to see the exchange, because he knew it wasn't grounds for banning me, which he subsequently did anyway. There's another problem, or it was a problem anyway. A lot of people saw

Well, Oakman Lite Rob Graham has closed SB1, and like a hero he's pretending that it was my fault. Apparently posting about abortion is 'trolling' . . . well, only if you think that abortion isn't a terrible thing and in doing so offend the nutjobs.

This is great! Someone actually chased you down and 1 voted you. What a bunch of morons. The reason he closed it down is because Rob, Mike and the rest wanted it to be a wing-nut echo chamber. They wanted it to be a place they could go and bitch about Obama liberals and Democrats. The only "debate" they want to participate in is how big a moron is Obama or how much do liberals really hate Ameirica - a little or a lot? People like you and me shake them up and challenge their world view.
