My god the US is a dump.
Actually, US airports vary quite a bit. In the New York City metro area, JFK is so-so, LaGuardia (LGA) is pretty sleazy (But the closest to me, so I use it often), and Newark (EWR) is really nice (Which is odd, given the city in which it's located - Newark, New Jersey). Minneapolis (MSP) is pretty nice, but a little too spread out... Atlanta (ATL) makes me cringe a bit... Sarasota (SRQ) is really nice... Anchorage (ANC) is nice... Hmm, where else have I connected through recently... Heathrow, though... Ugh... If that's the one you ranted about a couple posts back, I totally agree with you.
Proud to have finally moved to the A-Ark. Which one are you in?

My god I hope so. If they were all as bad as OHare it would be appaling! :) I seem to recall Kentucky was OK, Housten I dont recall much of, went TWOV, did LA, Indianapolis, and Atlanta in a kind of sleep drugged state and dont recall so much about them. :) UK airports suck. They are so grimy, cheap, tacky, untidy... The food is crap too. The German ones are best IMO. Clean, classy, efficient.

I've never flown through O'Hare... Been through Houston, but it was so long ago that I don't remember it. Heathrow was just incredibly annoying... First time I landed there, flying Virgin Atlantic, I must have walked 2-3 miles from the gate to Customs/Immigration. The next two times I went over there, I was flying Delta, and that was a lot closer, but still quite a hike. Departing from there wasn't bad though.

Thats not the grey and blue liveried plane is it? Part of StarAliance or some such? What always pisses me off about immigration into the US is being forced to queue up with all the foreigners. I mean, we used to own the place goddammit!

Author of the Guardians Saga (Sci-Fi/Fantasy novels)Nah, it was another i flew on, perhaps United? Anyway, they were crap. Really shoddy and ammateurish cabin crew. And rude. As for immigration, I havent yet had the balls to say that to the frontier police yet. Probably a good idea not to... :~

If for some reason that Genie has limits such that he can only give 1 wish to every person, my wish would be to be able to get whatever I want in life, easily. Nothing specific, I just want to get whatever I want. I hope this counts. :-D
