Tonsilectomy Update: Surgery went well

At home now, heavily medicated for a few days. They tell me the pain will be worse tomorrow but will get better as time goes by. The surgeon said my tonsils were very big and very infected. Surgery was the only option for me to get better and every thing so far is going well. Thanks for you earlier support. Don't really know all of you but it meant a lot to me. Cheers. :)

I am good with that. I am so glad. The tonsils where extraordinarily big but no cancer or tumors found. Thanks for asking. :)

Great news! Good to hear that there is no possibility of any tumor. That would have been worse.

Funny you ask because I asked the same thing. The doctor laughed and told me that they are sucked out through a tube as he cuts them away.
