Having had but 2 hours snooze before coming to work I am amazed I can create today's CCC... "Terminated, might newspaperman shortly have taken complete control?"(11) Best of luck to all.

Terminated = over might = power newspaperman shortly = ed OVERPOWERED (not often I see one before it's solved.) Regards, Stewart

Editor is regularly shortened to Ed.

An Editor is a journalist, or at least traditionally they were. You started as a Junior Reporter, and worked your way up to Editor of the paper.
