I want to see the technological singularity. Only 34 more years. *runs to get popcorn* The colonization of Mars is also high on my list, but I'm not sure how long that is supposed to take.

As you approach the singularity of a black hole, time distorts and you never quite reach the center. At least, that's how it worked on that one episode of Andromeda. So the unstoppable object never stops, it just appears to slow down. Simples. :)
