    I didn't know fish had fingers... :)

It was broke, so I fixed it.

I just asked the same question. Fish from Japan probably is relatively cheap...

Since it was fish fingers, I guess you can say you were taken, hook, line and sinker. :)

Since when do fish have fingers? Were they from Japan?

Never mind that. What part of the chicken is the nugget?

I was served Fish Fingers today, and right before I started eating them I noticed a strange toilet-like odor. Turned out the fish fingers smelled like urine. Any normal human being would probably have thrown them in the bin at that point, but I wondered.. would they not only smell like urine, but taste like it as well? So I took a bite, and because it didn't taste like urine (yes I know what urine tastes like :) ) I ate them all.

Oh, so they torture you with those commercials in Belgium as well. Now I wonder how many people on the other side of the Atlantic know that guy.

Most, if not all, of the members of the shark and ray families have high concentrations of urea in their systems. The usual way to deal with this is to leave the flesh soaking in milk for at least a couple of hours, then rinse very well before cooking. I have been served skate wings at a restaurant that smelt worse than the portable toilets at a music festival! Perhaps the fish finger manufacturer was using cheap cuts of dogfish or shark?
