    I really hope this kind of SW doesn't use a MS OS. Maybe something like Integrity, VxWorks, QNX... would be more appropiate.

      I thought you were talking about embedded software. The MPS in a MS box makes more sense.

      Yeah. I did some on board work for a Minesweeper, that was also NT4. The MPS is a field based bit of kit, a big laptop really.

                          I worked on some SW for the UK Apache years back, looks like its going into action: Libya: Apache attack helicopters to be deployed within 24 hours [^] (Hope it doesnt BSOD! :~ )
