I'm not getting into mud slinging, it won't suit you, but I do know how to behave. If I post drivel [passim ad ad nauseum] then I accept that I get 1'ed, I won't go crying about it. Likewise, if I'm actively involved in a thread, I try to avoid down voting [as I have for this entire thread] unless the little trolls stick their heads above the parapet.

I'm not a huge poster in the community, but I've been following the lounge for entertainment for quite a while and let me say that I think it's wonderful that we're allowed to post messages that server no purpose other than to insult the intelligence of others. Example[^] While that impresses me, I'm even more impressed with the support you get for posting such a message. At the time of this post there were 5 up-votes and zero down-votes. What a simple way to gain reputation points, just insult someone.

It's the lounge. The old war vets lull around here, eyeing all the newcomers suspicously. That's how it works, and that's why we come back. Lulling and eyeing. Now, I understand Chris has a different view / expectation. And yes, it would be nice if... I for one, prefer the choice of a taint over nice.

If you want to say things like that, you should try saying it to people who actually need to be told it. Nagy certainly doesn't qualify, which you would know, had you spent any time here, so your response to him says a lot more about you than about him.

I don't think that was needed. Humorous, yes. Needed, no.

I don't think saying "that's not needed" is needed. Very little is needed in this universe. Heck, this message is not needed. This site is not needed. Better to say what you think. "That's not needed" indicates very little about what you actually think is wrong with something.
