It is far too cold for ice cream here. Overcast, Dull, Raining. I suppose that is about right for the middle of f***ing June.

Blue sky, 34 degrees C, cicadas chirping away, swimming pool looking inviting... Aaaaah, the South of France.... ;P --edit-- Cycled to school this morning with the sprog, shorts, tee shirt, sandals. Stopped off in the cafe for some espresso on the way back, met a few of the usuals, had a chat, cycled back home to start work at 10:00 am. Made a parmigiana di melanzani for lunch. Might have to go for a dip to cool off in a bit. :)

We know the family that lost their child to the Quick burger. Sad indeed. Most of the village was at the ceemony.

I was off duty from the Grammar Nazi patrol today, so I let that slide. Good to see that you were on duty in the watchtower, though...

Reminds me of why I left the UK. That year, we had had rain every day but 5 between august and christmas. Fuck that, says I, and buggers off to the south of france to live. :) Ahhh, snow in winter, skiing, 40`C in summer. Blue skys 80% of the year, rain like it means it, not that pissy dribbly shite you get in the UK. :)

Send some my way, please! It was 115°F yesterday, and scheduled to be just slightly cooler today.

                    Will Rogers never met me.
