Windows server 2003 sp2 shut down [modified]
-
Hello all, I've looked into the logs (event viewer) and I've seen under System that at 22:01 LiveUpdate was started (symantec Backup exec is installed there). The next message is at 6:05:32 in which I can read: The last shutdown was not expected. in order to get more information go to this link (which don't provide extra help). I've looked at other places in the same event viewer without luck... Any idea on how to get more information about an unexpected shut down? This has happened two times in a week and everyone here is worried. Thank you in advance! PS: No power cuts involved... it seems that spooler is behaving in the wrong way as each time it happens a message telling that spooler is failing appears... How would you check what it is happening? Thank you in advance!
