Well, your opinion ain't worth the air displaced by your farts. Go ahead and translate it any way you want, because people that are hung up on non-existant issues are prone to that kind of behavior. ------- signature starts "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001 Please review the Legal Disclaimer in my bio. ------- signature ends

I don't get our media. Why are they picking on Lott when he was just trying to make a 100 year old man laugh. What's he supposed to say? "Well Strom, I'm glad you didn't win you racist pig!" Gimme a break. So what if he said it 2 or 3 times, Strom was never a spring chicken when he said it. Lott should not resign until Democratic Senator Robert "Sheets" Byrd does. Byrd was a Grand Dragon (or wizard, whichever) in the KKK!! Byrd even used the dreaded "N" word just a couple of years ago. IMO, all of this shows just how biased our media coverage is.

So not allowing a person of a different race to drink from the same water fountain as you is a "crime against humanity"? From this statement alone, I think we should never let the French run anything. It may be a crime, but not against humanity. KaЯl wrote: You mean if they start lynching people again ? Exactly.

You need to get out from under that rock from time to time Chris. ;) The Democrats from Ted Kennedy to Kwaese Mfume (that has to be misspelled) have lambasted Lott for their own political benefit. Even Jesse Jackson stepped into it.

To depose a politician for being a past member of the KKK, or for once opposing a cultural change that he has since accepted as the will of the majority would be the ultimate un-American act! Diversity of opinion has led to duels and fist fights in the hallowed halls of Congress, and in my opinion, we were the stronger for it. This too civilized, politically correct land is doomed if a change in direction isn't forthcoming soon. I'd even vote for a VBer, just for the change! now hold on a second. you're claiming that the republicans are suddenly the champions of diversity, tolerance and expression? the homophobic, xenophobic, church-and-state-mingling, morality-dictating republicans are now the people ensuring a diverse and tolerant USA? WTF? -c

So not allowing a person of a different race to drink from the same water fountain as you is a "crime against humanity"? From this statement alone, I think we should never let the French run anything. It may be a crime, but not against humanity. KaЯl wrote: You mean if they start lynching people again ? Exactly.
