Well what I mean is I did not make a typo, the guys who made that list may have though. I just don't want to be held responsible for mentioning Detroit there. :-D

So are all these open jobs decent jobs or are they just crappy contract jobs, working for a company featured on Daily WTF?

What’s wrong with Edison? Just a boring sleepy little town 15 minutes from where I live. :)

Well, I guess it's better than living in Sayreville. ;P (My Aunt used to live in the Nixon section of Edison. We'd be up there once a month or so. )

A lot of data centers in the NJ area across the river, nobody wants to be on Lower Manhattan, that's for the sales teams. My last 2 companies have had data centers / colocation there.

Hmm, maybe, if I get sick of New York. Seriously, though... Detroit? I think maybe that list is by NUMBER of available jobs, instead of QUALITY.

Proud to have finally moved to the A-Ark. Which one are you in?

There are plenty of jobs in detroit - as long as you don't have a problem occasionally asking people to lift their feet while so you can sweep under them...
