What do you use to rip CDs? I'm looking for one that works on Win7 x64, and preferably free.

    Best wishes, Hans

I am a fan of MediaMonkey http://www.mediamonkey.com/, for all ripping, tagging, burning, copying to MP3 players and library organization.

It is - as noted - ok for ripping and burning, but my experiences with it as a library organizer have been a disaster. For some odd reason WMP will change artwork, artist and album info on songs here and there (using WMP11 on Win7), corrections have to be applied manually on a case by case basis(as I find them when playing back) - I no longer trust its automatic info retrieval capabilities. This clobbering of the library files happens regardless of data ripped from bonafide owned CDs or stray stuff that at some point came in as a download from the 'net. Frustrating to say the least. -- RP
