It must be one of them there TCP/IP keyboards. Tea, Coffee, Pop/Ingress Protected.

Which one do you have? Air? Pro? Are you using it with Fusion or Parallels to do your Windows dev, too? If so, how do you like it? Any gotchas, or things you hate? Are you using an SSD? How much RAM do you have? K, I'm done. ;)

Deep breath... Pro 15" Parallels is installed, but currently I just remote into my windows machine for dev work The keyboard layout sucks. Fn + function key to send a function key, plus no page up/down, Home/End, and right-clicking is hit and miss, even with the wireless Magic Mouse (which I absolutely love except when it accidentally scrolls me away - which is often enough) HDD, and 4GB It's not what you would call portable (at least not compared to the Toshiba R705 I used to have, or the Acer Aspire One I also use) but the screen is stunning (gloss, not the high res anti-glare). I would have gone for he larger anti-glare screen but there's no way in OSX to set the font size globally. Everything is teeny tiny if the screen res is too high. I got the Mac because we have iPhones, an iPad and an AppleTV and use iPhoto and iTunes to coordinate our iLives. It's just neater having a Mac coordinate things (especially photos through iPhoto). A PC or laptop with iTunes would work just as well, sans photos, but I'm also totally over the beigeness of current laptop offerings - though the Samsung series 9 is tempting, but way too pricey. The other thing is that a Macbook on the living room dining table looks nice. Other laptops look like, well, other laptops.

I bought the 15" MBP with the matte display. I haven't yet installed Windows 7 / VMWare Fusion, so I can't comment on Windows development with it, but I'm really digging OS X so far. Really, for me, it was about broadening my horizons. I can now do iPhone/iPad/Mac development. Plus, there's something cool about having UNIX running underneath it all. :)
