                  If you could go back in time to pre-2003/2004, then the CP of those days catered primarily to C++/MFC devs. Today, CP and most similar sites have more of a .NET slant (not surprising).

                          Most of them seems to have gone under (or a close to going under). I used to frequent cplusplus.com and cpp-home.com. Both great sites, I still visit Cpp-home but activity has died down. Cppworld.com also was a nice site that has gone away ... These days I'm mostly on MSDN ...
