Easy enough here. The topic is on linkedin, and he found your linkedin profile, and while it was fairly obvious that it was indeed your profile he thought he'd double check to make sure. The one thing he missed is to add an "off-topic" on top. I am surprised you and that other guy reacted to it the way you did. That said, you are kinda sensitive (at times) :-)
