Well I was inactive for a long time but I did notice that the person you were speaking about did get a thread in GIT asking him to stop what he was doing(as some people pointed it out). In GIT, we do our best to avoid downvoting unless the person really deserves it. And no, we don't upvote for the sake of points. It's simply done to show that people are welcome there. I would say that people who frequent GIT are similar to the good old Lounge regulars: They care about the community, not the points. There might be a few exceptions but they are present everywhere. I was the one who started off the "Green" today because I felt elated at returning to Codeproject forums after a long time. There's nothing wrong in that as far as I can see. Then again, to each his own. Oh and finally, you might want to save your money for the Test match. :-D

I think it is this guy[^]. A couple of days ago he deleted somebodies answer in Q&A and re-posted it as his own! A lot of his actions point to trying to accumulate as many points as he can(I don't think he has realised about the points limit yet). GIT is always getting greened-out like this too.

I wonder how difficult it would be to write a small app that takes the permalink link for a CP message and with a button click: 1. up-votes the message and optionally: 2. posts a reply from a stock of "Excellent +5", "Great ", etc.. 3. book-marks the post (with appropriate additional text in the reply from 2). Might make an interesting article.

I didn't suggest this was done because he was Indian or GIT members are interested in points, in fact I corrected DD when he suggested this[^]. I thought he was the culprit, looks like I wass wrong, but I didn't even mention he was Indian let alone insinuate that this had any bearing on it whatsoever.

Has a small cock! Well I don't see it as any better than uni-voting. He is obviously doing it in attempt to gain rep-points(I think you get 1 for every up-vote). I think I know who it is too because, this person has been actively grabbing rep points of late.

I don't think it is the case. I think it is down to the one person I mentioned, if you looked at the front page of the Lounge this morning you would have concluded that we had all up-voted each other.

Take a look at my latest article, it can do #2 at least.
