India - First Innings - 99 all out New Zealand - First Innings 94 all out India - Second Innings - 154 all out New Zealand - Second Innings - 24 for no loss TARGET 160 to win!! For the first time in the history of Test cricket, either side failed to cross the hundred-run mark in the first innings!! Report[^] Kant Sonork-100.28114 Don't  and Drive.

Navjot Sidhu's commentary has been good so far, that is the best that can be said about the Test. You might find this [^] useful. I have heard their is a beta QOKA version of cricket about. This makes you wonder what the first ODI on Thursday will bring. :-) Regardz Colin J Davies

You are the intrepid one, always willing to leap into the fray! A serious character flaw, I might add, but entertaining. Said by Roger Wright about me.

They are calling the Hamilton pitch a GreenTop, which causes a tennis ball type bounce. I make no excuse, and I repeat the pitch is crap. But both teams must use it which helps equality I guess. I think the West Indies pitches by far most bouncy, but looks like Hamilon pitch made me wrong. :suss: For God sake they are playing International Cricket Test Match and above that India's has Sachin who likes the bouncy wicket. :~ I think the problem is ODI's, they are killing the Test Cricket. In the 80's they used to play 5 or 6 tests but now it's 1 or 2 tests and 6 or 7 ODI's. What a pity. :(( Kant Sonork-100.28114 Don't  and Drive.

Yes, that's my observation as well. I think ODI's should be a toatlly separate sport and players should not be permitted to play in both tests and ODI's. However ODI's would probably have to subsidise Tests as ODI's bring in more advertisers. (unsure about India) Not all cricketers are versatile enough to be both Test an ODI players, this causes some silly selctions to be made and good exclusive Test players are being left out of international teams. IMO Zaheer Khan is our only chance in this test now. My article on a reference-counted smart pointer that supports polymorphic objects and raw pointers

No. Australia has seperate teams, but many players are common. eg. Ponting, Warne, Gilchrist etc.. I mean, a good player is a good player - ODI or test. My article on a reference-counted smart pointer that supports polymorphic objects and raw pointers
