          It does not make you dumb. People that use it have an average IQ lower than the average population. So it does not make you dumb, just that if you use IE, the you are dumb. That is what the study is saying, not me. I use all browsers to test out my web sites, so I do have to use IE.

              *cough* repost of repost *cough*. IE8, FF, Chrome. Depends on usage. For Code Project, I typically use IE8.

                                      Good point. Part of the correlation could be due to people with more intelligence being given more choice, in general. Could also be that more intelligent people more often gravitate toward technical competence.

                                        I use IE8 at work, Firefox 5 at home. I don't notice much of a difference except Firefox 5 bluescreens my home XP system and both are massive memory hogs if you leave them running. The Firefox Flash plug-in also sometimes goes crazy and uses up all CPU. I like both better than Chrome, Opera or IE9.
