I saw this a while ago and simply ignored it. I haven't reported it though. Not only is it unethical to answer it, its also a foolish thing if you provide a solution for him.

No - use the report button instead. In addition report the poster (I have also done this). The message itself was deleted when I got there, but FYI it seemed to be asking if it is safe to test partition viruses the OP had written in VMs on his own machine...

The correct procedure would be to give a plausible, and yet incorrect, answer that would have resulted in him destroying his own machine.

Tell him that the correct way to create a partition is to use:
