Lucky for you, it's dry there, so it feels like 120 degrees as well. In the rest of the country, we have this thing called humidity. You may have heard of it, it is caused by this thing called water, which will thicken the air and make the temperature feel sometimes 15-20 degrees hotter than it actually is. (I realize you know what humidity and water are. I just wanted to really exaggerate its effects and Arizona's dryness. :-D )

Actually, based on humidity, the heat index today in London is the same as the actual temperature. See my post below and maybe you'll understand London is a paradise compared to other places in the world. ;) At least you guys have cloud cover, nothing but clear skies out by us.

Here in Southern California it's 95-105 degrees, and today it supposed to go higher. Can you send some of that 85 degree weather over here?

I wasn't saying anything about London in that post. I am actually in Ohio for the summer, and I'm from Illinois. We get some real humidity around here.

102F/39C here at the moment. 108F/42C expected in a few hours. We don't have rain anymore. They cut it out of the budget.
It always itches for the first week or so. My Mu[sic] My Films My Windows Programs, etc.
See, we have a cool day. It's only expected to be 105 F and it's 103 F at the moment.
